One of the largest, most diverse Ballroom and Latin dance schools with over 10,000 square feet of space in the heart of Manhattan, Stepping Out strives for excellence in delivering cutting edge instruction in all styles of Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Tango, Hustle, Country Western, and more. Home to the crème de la crème, the prestigious roster of instructors are current and former award winning, world renowned dancers in their respective fields and programs. Culled from all over the globe, the team of teachers include the World Mambo champions; World Hustle champions; World & U.S. Amer. Rhythm Champions; North American Smooth Dance Champions; Swing Dance Champions; internationally acclaimed Salsa, International Style Latin, Ballroom, and Country Western dance instructors; celebrated Argentine Tango masters; and unparalleled Social Dance teachers, recognized for their inspirational, contemporary perspectives. Stepping Out’s staff has participated in, and been featured on, “Dancing With the Stars” and PBS’s “America’s Ballroom Challenge” to name a few accolades.

In tandem to offering the foremost teaching team available anywhere, Stepping Out has developed some of the top amateurs in the country. Currently, four couples hold the U.S. Championship titles in their respective divisions. Many high profile and celebrity clients have come through Stepping Out’s doors and graced our dance floors. Stepping Out has taught, choreographed, performed, and developed programs for all kinds of events, corporations, educational institutions, multi-media platforms such as stage, film, television, video, and radio.

Stepping Out pairs cool vibes with hot moves. Open seven days a week, in addition to lessons, Stepping Out hosts the hottest dance parties, shows, and events.
