Tiffany Koury 2010 Spring Collection Inspired by Alice in Wonderland is a Hit!

Held at The Gates, The Tiffany Koury Spring 2010 Collection was an array of springtime elegance highlighted in all of the exquisite details of the nearly 30 dresses, each unique in presentation yet playing along the theme inspired by Alice in Wonderland.

Ivory, Onyx, Jade and Ice Pink dominated the color scheme of luxurious fabrics that became more fabulously decadent with each style revealed. A modern strong feminism that is its own trend in this trend-setting climate started with Fashion Week today. Styles were fitted and we saw many strapless versions – many which were versatile enough for day and night. Ruffled accents and laced gloves gave us a feeling of being at a whimsical tea party where we would have a glass of champagne next to our Tracy Stern tea.

Clearly dresses are Tiffany Koury’s trump suit –we all should have one- and they were nicely accented with classy shoes and small sharp-looking hats accenting full hair. Our favorite hair design was on a blond who had her hair twisted up in the back-all hairstyles fit well with the collection. We liked that the models were slim yet healthy which to us is an important consideration when we look at the overall look of the designs and the climate of the show.

However cute all of the styles were, and they were!- Peachy Deegan thought the cutest in attendance was Bella, Tiffany Koury’s niece, age 1, attending her first fashion show. We did not hear a peep out of her during the show and were pleased to meet her afterwards!
