Whom You Know Highly Recommends the Sonicare FlexCare+® Power Toothbrush: It is Peachy Deegan's Most Favorite Toothbrush So Far!
HEALTHIER GUMS IN TWO WEEKS WITH NEW TECHNOLOGY FROM PHILIPS SONICARE
Sonicare FlexCare+® Power Toothbrush Motivates People to Brush for Better Long Term Oral Health
Truth be told, the first time Peachy Deegan ever went to the dentist to get her teeth cleaned she cried and would not even open her mouth. The second time Peachy Deegan went to the dentist her grandmother (one of the Deegan girls to the right) promised to buy her a new outfit and take her to a hockey game after (she did), so Peachy opened her mouth. Many years, many teeth cleanings, many outfits and many hockey games later, we must say that Peachy has opened her mouth to clean with the Sonicare FlexCare+® Power Toothbrush with more enthusiasm than ever before. This is the best toothbrush she has EVER used. And she's not the only one who thinks so.
Her dentist, Dr. Garo Nazarian of Cosmopolitan Dental, http://www.cosmopolitandental.com/ said:
"After having used the Flexcare, it doesn't even seem possible to compare it to my regular toothbrush. It has a bit of noise to it when you turn it on, but the brush works amazingly: it's a dream to use. It auto-shuts off after the brushing cycle, something that's great because you know the exact time you need to brush. Also, and perhaps most important, is that it feels like it cleans my teeth better than anything I have ever used! This brush comes with 2 chargers, one for home (with the sanitizer) and a travel one (without a sanitizer.) It also comes with a brush head cover, and a travel pouch to put the wand in. These accessories will make traveling with my brush much easier. Overall I LOVE this toothbrush and can never go back!!!"

and since Peachy and Garo loved THAT one the best then (but they like this one even better!), Whom You Know decided to do a Panel Review.

"I wish someone made me get this years ago!" seems to be the common refrain from a few friends who own the Philips Sonicare Flexcare electric toothbrush. I was always a bit skeptical, as I'm a believer that certain things need to be done the old-fashioned way and with a little bit of elbow grease, and brushing my teeth was no exception.
Well, I learned the hard way many years later, after wearing out my enamel and gums, that this isn't the best approach. On top of all that, brushing was always a tedious chore for me when I brushed manually. That's until I finally became the happy owner of my very own Sonicare FlexCare electric toothbrush. I can't rave enough about this brush, as brushing with it leaves me feeling like I just came from a professional cleaning administered by my own dental hygienist, something I never experienced when brushing manually, or with the spin toothbrushes that were popular a few years ago, or with another leading brand electric toothbrush that's supposed to be comparable.
For those who have never owned a Sonicare brush before (or those who have owned an older model), the Sonicare FlexCare is a great model to start with, as per some other individuals who have owned the earlier models that came out in the past, the Sonicare FlexCare is a vast improvement in design and functionality. Out of the box, the model was very easy to assemble and easy to use, thanks to the concise instructions in the user manual. The package comes with 2 different sized brush heads that are designed to clean all surfaces of your teeth, including the hard-to-reach areas. There are 5 brush modes: Clean, Gum Care, Refresh, Sensitive, and Massage, which you can choose depending on the type of cleaning or special needs you may have, which in my case, Gum Care and Sensitive are the ones that work best for my current receeding gums and sensitive teeth condition. There's also a Quadpacer timer built in that helps you ensure that you're spending enough time brushing the 4 quadrants of your mouth. A most welcome feature to the Sonicare FlexCare is the UV Sanitizer, which cleans your brush heads of 99% of bacteria in just 10 minutes, this is quite helpful when you have a cold sore or blister and you don't want the germs to linger on your brush or infect another part of your mouth.
Easy portability is another plus, as a full charge on the brush allows you to use it for at least a week without having to recharge it, and the unit comes with a travel case and travel charger. While some may argue the price tag of the Sonicare FlexCare is a bit high, I truly believe in the long run, the money, pain and time you save on dental care more than offsets the cost of the unit. I just can't wait to see what my next dental visit will be like!

Stamford, Connecticut – What motivates you to take care of your teeth? For some, it may be the promise of a whiter smile; for others it’s a better dental check up. For the 80 percent of Americans who suffer from gum disease, better brushing can actually reduce the disease state and improve gum health. To help encourage a lifetime of good oral health, Philips Sonicare, the number one dental professional-recommended power toothbrush brand, is introducing FlexCare+, clinically proven to improve gum health in as little as two weeks. FlexCare+ is a simple and effective at-home solution that helps people take control of their oral health.
“The perception of a healthy mouth has changed; it’s not all about outward appearance,” said Ron Tiktin, director, Consumer Marketing, Philips Sonicare. “Consumers are beginning to understand the importance of healthy gums in addition to clean teeth. The new Philips Sonicare FlexCare+ provides complete gum care and superior plaque removal -- two essential components to better oral health.”
With advanced features, including a new Gum Care mode that provides two minutes of overall cleaning followed by one minute of gentle cleaning to focus on trouble spots along the gumline, FlexCare+ is clinically proven to improve gum health in just two weeks. It also helps prevent gum recession and inflammation.
“FlexCare+ motivates consumers by providing a positive brushing experience that they can see and feel, including an invigorating sensation and excellent stain removal,” said Dr. Hal Crossley, D.D.S., Ph.D., Professor Emeritus at the University of Maryland Dental School. In clinical studies, consumers brushed significantly longer with the FlexCare+ in Gum Care mode than with a manual toothbrush or Oral-B® Triumph with SmartGuide.
FlexCare+ also has the following innovative features:
The Philips Sonicare brand is a leader in oral health care, and is backed by more than 140 publications and abstracts representing clinical and laboratory studies conducted at more than 40 universities and research institutes worldwide. Philips Sonicare power toothbrushes are proven to promote and improve oral health, from reducing plaque to improving overall gum health. They also have demonstrated the ability to increase patient compliance by promoting a consistent oral health and hygiene regimen between dental visits. Philips Sonicare is the number-one power toothbrush brand recommended by U.S. dental professionals.
The suggested retail price for Philips Sonicare FlexCare+ is $189.99, and it is currently available at Bed Bath and Beyond, www.Amazon.com, www.Philips.com/store and through select dental offices. For more location information, visit www.sonicare.com.
