Small Screen Scenes: American Idol, Boston Auditions

We advocate making the most of being in Manhattan, but when it gets cold there is only so much of the outdoors Peachy Deegan can take, even in her fabulous Cloudveil.
We turn to American Idol!
We love love LOVE American Idol.
It takes us back to the days of trying out for Perilhettes (We did make it; our group made a cassette tape which tells you how long ago it was now. Our Perilhette group even sang the national anthem at a NHL game.) The first season American Idol was on in America, Peachy's ex-boyfriend at the time who was from Ireland was on about how big a deal it was in the UK and Ireland, and how we Americans should pay attention. He was right.
So far, we like Katie Stevens and Justin the cancer survivor. And Posh Spice was a great guest judge in Boston, bringing style and positivity to the panel.
And we are so sad it is Simon's last season. Of course, we love his honesty and criticism and he is our favorite judge.
We can't wait for tonight!
