Next there is the Anti-Breakage Nail Treatment Strengthener or "Anti-Casse" Cream. One rubs the cream onto one's nails. This is not a harsh polish strenghthener of the hard as nails variety. It is rather a gentle botanical that is absorbed into the nails. It is also from the farm at La Gacilly.

However, this base coat also helps your nail stay strong and heathy! I really love this product because it helps my nails stay strong but also look beautiful. I've heard many times about the importance of using a base coat when getting a manicure, as it increases the strength of your nails while helping nail polish to stay on longer. Both are great in my case, as my nails are weak and polish doesn't seem to last as long as result too. Yves Rocher's Anti-Breakage Nail Strengthening Base Coat is the perfect underlayer. It's quick and easy to apply, not to mention that it dries just as quickly too, so it's worth taking that extra bit of time to add this step to your manicure for best results. I like the nice translucent coral shade too, which matches closely to the pink of my nail beds.
