Peachy's Pantry: Milk and Cookies by Ben & Jerry's Highly Recommended by Whom You Know

Happy Monday Manhattan!  Do you need something to cheer you up?  The best thing ever is the latest and greatest from our two friends, Ben and Jerry.  Who does not love cookies and milk?  One of Peachy's favorites from childhood was Cookie Monster, and she loved to imitate his unique cookie-consuming style although that would not be making the Etiquette from Connecticut column.  Now that we are presumably grown up, a more refined manner to enjoy the delectable combination of milk and cookies is with the brand new flavor by Ben and Jerry's!  Perfect for August in Manhattan, this is a treat to look forward to, and our panel raves:

I remember coming home after school, running in from the bus to mom who was waiting there with milk and cookies for an after school snack.  I know it sounds corny, but it is absolutely true.  My brothers and I would run as fast as we could on days when we knew mom was actually making cookies herself, usually a once-a-week occurrence.  To this day, I still eat my cookies with a glass of milk and it brings me back to grade school.  Ben and Jerry must of had moms that made them the best homemade cookies and milk. I say this because their new Milk and Cookies is a genius flavor combo.  Every spoonful of has chunks of chewy cookie and surrounded by vanilla ice cream.   And it's not just crumbled chocolate wafer cookies.  We're talkin' chocolate chip and chocolate chocolate chip cookies!  It's such a simple flavor combination, a no-brainer, but the taste brings me back to my mom's kitchen - being out of breath from racing my brothers to be the first eating her homemade chocolate chip cookies.  I have been a Ben and Jerry's ice cream fan for a long time.  All of their ice cream is made from the best and finest ingredients and every spoonful is packed with flavor.  Milk and Cookies has quickly become a favorite.

Ben and Jerry's Milk & Cookies ice cream brings me back to my youthful years. I mean at first I was wondering the name is kind of odd how and what will this taste like? Well I opened the lid started eating. OH MY! What a wonderful surprise! It tastes exactly like milk and cookies! The cookie swirls jump right at you and you don't have to dig for them either. The bits aren't bits - they are like large nuggets! This flavor is right on the money!

I love eating cookies with a cold glass of milk.  My favorite part is the dunking!  It brings me back to summer afternoons when I was a kid.  An even better way to enjoy this snack is the Ben & Jerry's Milk and Cookies ice cream.  It was that perfect proportioned glass of milk and cookies goodness in one spoonful.  I loved that there were two different flavored cookies mixed in.  With the weather having been hot the last few weeks, this is the perfect treat to enjoy on those hot afternoons!  This is now a flavor that I will have to keep stocked in my freezer!

We think you are going to fall in love with it too: Whom You Know highly recommends Milk and Cookies by Ben & Jerry's!!!
