You know Peachy Deegan is predisposed to Irish people; she lived in Cork as a student and was even on the radio over there. If you are really attuned to Whom You Know, you also know that Peachy Deegan is not even her real name but she chose the Irish last name on purpose.
We love our Mover and Shaker Meera Ghandi and went to her event last week:

Of everyone there of course Peachy met Mary Brady, the only person there that's from Ireland probably...and she is from The Renew Spa. It's not who you know, it's Whom You Know. We had to find out more....so here is about The Renew Spa:
In a small, quiet, private spot in New York's Upper East Side is a site of tranquility. Here, you can come and pamper yourself, and luxuriate in a health and beauty treatment that provides you with a stunning revitalization. And it just happens to be around the corner from Swifty's....so you can swing by after your crabcakes for lunch.
This is The Renew Anti-Aging Center
Owner and founder Carmel O'Neill, Licensed Aesthetician. received her degree from the renowned Atelier Esthetique School. She has worked with some of New York's leading Dermatologists and Anti-Aging Physicians. She has continued her education by attending clinics and seminars on the latest Anti-Aging procedure and techniques, and brings a wealth of experience to her practice.
Carmel has now teamed up with long time business associate Mary Brady. Mary specializes in accounting and marketing. With the opening of Renew five years ago they have realized their shared goal of owning one of New York's top skin care practices.
Peachy could not wait for her facial with Carmen! Carmen is from County Carlow and went to school in Laois. Peachy has been to both of those places and in fact has been to 26 out of the 32 counties in Ireland, and proportionally that is way more than the number of states she's been to in America. Carmen is a total professional and follows a strict procedure for facials which is as follows:
1) Cleanse using Renew’s Anti-Oxidant Cleanser containing CoQ10, Vitamins, A, C, and E
2) Tone using Renew’s Revitalizing Toner containing five botanical extracts, vitamins A, C and E
3) Algae mask which helps exfoliate and purge impurities from skin is massaged into skin during steaming.
4) Extractions if necessary
5) Skin Medica toner which helps reduce inflammation and tones and tightens skin.
6) Ultra Sound mini massage used with ceremides 3 (Renew product – Serum) helped hydrate, detox and build collagen in skin.
7) Calming mask is applied to hydrate
8) Renew’s Anti-Oxidant Tightening Gel which contains Pycnogenol, Ubiquinone, Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamins A, C and E.
9) Eye cream
10) UltraSerum Moisturizing Serum (Renew)
11) Tinted SPF sun block zinc based and chemical free.
Do not be misled by the list; we are only trying to inform you! Carmel is so friendly and chatty you hardly know all the steps are happening, you're having so much fun! And it feels fabulous. The Renew Spa is impeccably clean...and very private which we love. You would not even know it is there from the street. We also like that they work with SkinMedica; we like that brand too and will be writing on that separately shortly.
Carmen is totally into bespoke treatment. When you arrive you fill out paperwork with your dermatological history and she is such a pro at customization. She works with both men and women of all ages and works quite often with kids/teenagers. And she loves her patients as you can see when you are there all of the pictures of the kids on the wall.
After the whole facial and antioxidant cocktail (for your face!) you will hardly know the time passed. And the best part at the end? Irish tea and cookies! We say cookies so you know what we mean, but the Irish call them biscuits....Whom You Know recommends the facial by Carmel at The Renew Spa! If you don't have the luck of the Irish, or even if you do, go see her to get the glow Peachy Deegan has now!
