Terrific Takeout: EJ's Luncheonette

Who doesn't like a nice steak dinner?

Especially when it's joined by fresh, crisp broccoli and sauteed with onions!

And, we really loved the sweet potato french fries!!!

This 12 oz sirloin was cooked medium well, exactly as Peachy asked.

What a winner by EJ's Luncheonette!

Of course it does not come on Mikasa; the china is Peachy's touch...do you really think she's a girl that eats out of plastic??? Of course not, unless she's at the beach.

And the beach days are far away and takeout is where it's at in this chilly Manhattan weather.

Located at 1271 Third Avenue, EJ's is conveniently located on the Upper East side.

Breakfast is served all day, and daily lunch specials are available.

Don't forget: Monday & Tuesdays are Blue Plate Special Dinners for only $10.95, an excellent deal that includes a green salad as well. And that lovely steak you see above was a Blue Plate Special, believe it or not. Peachy also had the Chef Salad which as you can see below was fabulously fresh. They were not at all stingy with the meat as some Chef Salads can be...the ham, cheese and turkey joined the lettuce, tomatoes and olives for quite a salad party!
