NIGHTLIGHT: Jean and Martin Shafiroff Host Winter Cocktails Brightening Up January!

We first met Jean through her various charitable endeavors, including the New York Women's Foundation:

She is also quite influential with Southampton Hospital and we see her everywhere! Jean is always pleasant and delightful, and definitely the best-dressed and she was sparkling last night, in both dress and personality. And now we know how loved she is too! We love Jean, and we're not the only ones. Here's who we were happy to see at Jean's:

Mover and Shaker Rita Cosby
Upcoming Mover and Shaker Robin Cofer, and her husband.

They own Home-read it in Peachy's Picks!  Robin is multi-talented as you will see in upcoming features.
Upcoming Mover and Shaker Chuck Scarborough
Ann Watt, so happy to see you with a champagne glass not a camera in your hand
Roger Webster, yet another delightful french kiss from Roger!
John Wegorzewski, glad to hear Gordie Howe's your favorite hockey player
Edward our friend who grew up at 21
Catherine Saxton
Debra Halpert, our friend from the Serafina lunch
Guy Robinson, one of our favorite hockey enthusiasts
Elizabeth Stribling
Mitzi Perdue
R. Couri Hay
Kathleen Giordano
Richard Smullen
Alex Donner
Geoffrey Bradfield
Henry Buhl
& many more, sorry Peachy was not on official duty so she was not writing down names!

We just had such a lovely time that we had to tell you about it. The piano player added such ambiance and we're sure everyone would agree a better time could not have been had (unless you were at Swifty's drinking The Peachy Deegan of course, but that is what Peachy did after...) AND, we are always commenting on Jean's fabulous dresses and last night Jean combined her charitable efforts and her smart fashion sense on none other than Peachy. After covering about 500 events with no fashion disasters, Murphy's Law began to play a part in Peachy's fashion life last night. When she took off her outside footwear, the zipper in her dress split. Jean came to her rescue and lent her a scarf and tied it for her, and saved the day. And no one knew, but we are telling you as this shows what kind of person Jean is.  And Peachy was headed to Swifty's after and of course everyone loved the scarf she was wearing, so Peachy gives credit where credit is due! Not only does Jean host smashing cocktails along with her husband Martin, but also she is a genuinely nice person, and we look forward to featuring her as an upcoming Mover and Shaker. A big thank you to Jean!!! xo Peachy
