The Gorgeous Women of Whom You Know Highly Recommend Snowberry's Instant Deep Cleanser
You may never have tried a cleanser like this one. Seriously. Snowberry calls it "Instant" and instant it is. Off comes the eye make-up. Foundation and lipstick is gone. So gentle, so natural, that I had to look in the mirror to see it closely. No make-up. After a day of HD make-up, for a video production, this cleanser worked wonders without being intrusive. No foam, oils, or soapy residue, anywhere to be felt. It just works it's magic in a flash, and leaves your skin ready for the next step. Loving this Snowberry line. The Instant Deep Cleanser leaves every other cleanser I have ever used in my entire life in the dust.
I am a person who wears blush, under eye concealer and mascara every day. Not a ton of make-up but enough to have to remove carefully each night. I have tried the make remover wipes and oils and more. But I have never fallen in love with a product that lead me to stop looking for something better. As a huge fan of some of the other products by the fabulous New Zealand company, Snowberry, I dove at the chance to try the Instant Deep Cleanser. The key is to warm up the product to get the molecules moving before applying to the face. Just a couple of drops does the trick. I massaged it into my skin and rinsed with warm water and my skin was make-up and toxin free.
It's amazing how much product we all put on our faces each day. Seriously, think about it!! How many chemicals are in our make up? I feel certain that it is of the utmost importance to get it all thoroughly cleansed off my face. I did find that most cleansers don't seem to get everything off no matter how hard I scrubbed. That is what lead me to Snowberry's Instant Deep Cleanser. Now, when I go to bed, I am confident that all my make up is off and my skin is looking better because of it.
Cleansing and toning are integral components of fine skin care. Snowberry carries a Cleanser that's both effective and sensitive to the skin. It works deep into the skin's surface removing makeup and dead skin cells. Wheat germ along with natural oils clean the skin and leave it unbelievably smooth. I feel as if a layer has been peeled off leaving me with the "baby" skin I was born with. The great thing about this cleanser is that it doesn't strip the skin like others which leaves the skin dry and unpleasantly tight. The Snowberry cleanser is a keeper!

The Supernatural Cleanser
It is the Snowberry Instant Deep Cleanser and it is made in New Zealand. It contains no petro-chemicals, no silicones, no volatile alcohols, no Lauryl Sulphates, no Propylene or Butylene Glycols; and no artificial colours, surfactants or parabens. It does contain an extraordinary blend of the world’s most exotic and highly functional natural oils and herbal extracts that combine to give the cleanser most remarkable functionality as well as its beautiful, translucent golden colour.
Among the most remarkable of the Snowberry products, the Instant Deep Cleanser is unique because it is fragrance-free, and it contains no water! It is an entirely herbal-oil based formulation that seems to literally ‘warm’ the skin. Indeed, ardent fans of the Cleanser frequently refer to the ‘warming sensation’ that accompanies use. At the same time they are expressing delight at the seemingly magical way the cleanser makes even heavy eye make-up, simply vanish. “This was our challenge,” says Snowberry founder Soraya Hendesi. “For many years I had tried all sorts of facial cleansers but even those with the kind of aggressive surfactants that I simply would not use in Snowberry, struggled with eye liner and shadow. And because these make-up effects are so close to the eye, the cleanser needs to be very, very safe.” Hendesi’s brief to Snowberry’s chief scientist Dr. Andy Lavrent, was to develop a cleanser that was natural, safe and particularly effective for make-up removal, but which would also help to rehydrate skin. Too many cleansers she says contain volatile alcohols for example that cleanse, but in fact strip the skin of its natural oils and the ‘good’ bacteria that are an essential part of the skin’s protective system.
This dual functionality of cleansing while hydrating led Dr Lavrent in the direction of some of his favourite herbal oils. In particular, he wanted to blend Passion fruit for its skin softening properties, with Indian Neem and Inca Inchi oils with their antiseptic and superb moisturisation characteristics; with White Peat extract, an ingredient rich in the essential anti-inflammatory and tissue-regenerative phytosterols and waxes that are essential components of the skin’s barrier system. Finally, and also very unusually, the cleansing product contains the anti-oxidants Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamin C.
Said Hendesi, “I found it tremendously exciting when I saw what Andy had created! I had never seen a cleanser like it – not in colour, texture, feel and especially not in the way it worked. I felt he had created a kind of miracle cleanser and in fact, I didn’t want to call it a ‘cleanser’ – that word simply doesn’t convey how much this elixir can do.”
Hendesi trialed her ‘supernatural’ product, as she always does with her immediate family and friends and was unsurprised at the enthusiasm she encountered. “People just love it!” she says. “It is a product that cleanses and rehydrates, that also protects the skin’s micro flora. But the experience of using the cleanser is what counts most. It does work like magic and skin just seems to feel more alive, smoother and with greater suppleness.
As with all Snowberry products, the cleanser has not been tested on animals and contains no animal products.
The Instant Deep Cleanser retails for USD63 in a 50ml polypropylene airless pump (or USD31 for the convenient travel-size pump), selected by Snowberry because the airless pump minimises the possibility of product contamination, and equally importantly, reduces the Snowberry carbon footprint compared to glass packaging by up to 20%. Snowberry products are certified carbon neutral from the source of their ingredients to the final package on the shelf anywhere in Europe.
Snowberry is colourfully characterised by the whimsical paper-cut art commissioned from London artist, Rob Ryan. “Look carefully on the Cleanser’s label,” Hendesi notes, “and you will see a man and a woman holding a little banner. It says, ‘We are all made of carbon.’ It is one of the important messages of our time.”
