We are absolutely thrilled to bring you one of the hottest looks of the season, by our friend Paul Mayer.
Houndstooth is a classic look and an all-time-favorite of those with exquisite taste, and this season we hear even the trendy types are into it. Well thanks to our pal Paul, this is not your grandmother's houndstooth. Kicked up a notch with patent red toes and perfectly stitched bows, and of course precise red trim along the top, these are modern classics that we truly love. In fact, about 2 minutes after they arrived, Peachy immediately took them for a test drive:

We don't love Paul Mayer only because he is a nice guy, but he makes shoes of the utmost quality and they are made in Spain. We love, love, love shoes made in Europe!!!
They are supremely comfortable and you know at Coterie, Peachy wore another Paul Mayer pair and walked 13 plus miles in them that day so of course that goes to show you that they are totally functional. Smart and beautiful, these are the shoes to beat.
He quite literally makes ballet flats in practically every shape and color, and when Peachy saw these houndtooths with red she did cartwheels around the Javits (well, not literally, but linguistically. She was wearing a dress after all...)
We always see Paul at FFANY at the Hilton and not only is his brand tops but also he himself is coming into the digital age and we will keep you apprised of all developments on that front.
