Rollerblading Peachy: Rollerblade Spark 84 W Highly Recommended by Whom You Know and Absolutely What You Need for Summer Streets in Manhattan in August 2012!
There is nothing like putting a pair of Rollerblades on and scooting around the city! The latest and greatest in the Rollerblade family to Whom You Know is this model, the Spark 84 W and we have fallen in love with it. Peachy's been zipping around for a few weeks on them now and she must say she likes this pair even better than the last. The fit is perfectly snug without being too tight, and the style is smart and stylish. The right skate has a break, obviously essential, but not often used by our resident speed demon, who has the bruises to prove it currently! We consider Summer Streets to be a major New York holiday:
If you have not had the express pleasure of personally jogging, biking, walking, or best of all of the choices, ROLLERBLADING down Park Avenue SANS VOITURES (without cars for everyone that didn't go to Mademoiselle Charton's class) it is something you should all experience in your lifetime, and if you do it once, you'll be dying to do it again. It is not too often you can have a whole avenue to yourself to share with other pedestrians, etc. so we are praying for the good weather. As long as that cooperates, we know we'll have the biggest blast around since we've got the right stuff to strap on our feet. And if you're wondering where the name comes from, 84 refers to the millimeter size of the wheel.
So, Spark 84, why do we love you? We love your speed and ability to turn on a dime, relatively speaking of course. If you are new to rollerblading, definitely start off slowly! If you can ice skate, you will be able to rollerblade and vice versa, in our humble opinion. This Spark 84 W has both laces, velcro and the boot lock which make it totally secure. We will warn you though-in a heat wave it is probably not the best idea to exercise outside. One day when impatient Peachy could not stand to not rollerblade for another heat wave day (100 degrees) she decided she'd try it and her feet were actually too expanded to fit. That shows you the precision that is incorporated into the perfect fit of these skates.
The 2012 Women's Spark 84 is stylish, comfortable, functional and great for casual inline skating and training. Great overall support is enhanced by the Double-Wrap asymmetrical lacing system that makes the upper conform to the shape of the feet more closely and provide additional support in the proper areas when in the skating stride. A versatile skate with an 84mm wheel which provides a fast but maneuverable ride. Features include: Double Wrap shell with Asymmetrical lacing, Rollerblade Training 5-Star Womens Fit liners, NEW Lo-Balance magnesium frames, Rollerblade 84mm/84A wheels and SG7 bearings. Brake is on the skate, and we can confirm it is very durable and it totally works well. After some of the storms, tree debris (careful of that!) can be in your way so steer clear and be sure to employ your brake effectively.

And, you know all BC kids love, love, love Rollerblading-just ask Mover and Shaker Lonnie Quinn!
Be sure to order your pair so you can cruise down Park Avenue these upcoming Saturdays and blow past the runners wearing something speedier than any sneaker!
Whom You Know just LOVES Rollerblade, and we highly recommend the Spark 84! Be sure to pick up the right model for you. We think Rollerblading should become an Olympic sport....and in any event, it is Peachy Deegan's favorite form of exercise!
