Mmmmmm pizza! According to Peachy Deegan, it is one of the four food groups and all pizza in Manhattan is not created equally. Life is too short to eat pizza that is less than exemplary, so when Peachy's near Grand Central, she goes to Previti Gourmet Pizza to see her pal Kevin and his extraordinary pizza. This time she tried the Foccacia pie which is so thick, rich and exquisite it is fit for royalty. On Foccacia bread, bien sur mes amies!

And since it is Sunday night which is supposed to be a depressing night for many, go order yourself some pizza and cheer up. If you work near Grand Central, and we know there are a lot of you, here is how to make your Monday better.

Look at that bubbly cheese-mozzarella and provolone in a truffle cream sauce just oozing to meet you. The Sardinia pizza is a party of that cheese, artichoke hearts, and spinach...so a good vegetable kicks up the nutrition. Peachy wanted to wake up in this cheese sauce and dreamed of it the night this pizza was consumed. It is that divine.

You can feel even better about this venue because this is their second feature. We can assure you it is not just anybody that is awarded a second feature.

If you are not in the pizza mood, be aware that they make fresh bread everyday themselves and the chicken parmesan sandwich is one you will absolutely adore. Its fresh goodness will hit the spot.

Calzones are tremendous at Previti as well. They remind her of summer days with convertibles and T-tops.

When you flip the lid, you see what's inside: to-die-for fluffy ricotta and mozzarella & topping of your choice...our pinkie-out Editor-in-Chief was in the pepperoni mood! Sometimes we do casual, and it is only when the cuisine is this superb.
