Need we offer you any more reasons to enjoy this artfully selected mix of jazz, gospel, feel good music?
It's a well-known fact that our 42nd president is a huge music fan. He's been known to whip out his saxophone and jam with the best of them, and he has made no secret of the fact that music had a huge influence in his upbringing. But what does Bill Clinton like to listen to for fun? Thanks to Museum Music, a terrific company that makes creative and thoughtful compilation CDs that explore the relationship between music, other art forms, ideas history, and the human experience, we now have an inkling! On The Bill Clinton Collection: Selections from the Clinton Music Room, listeners are treated to a sampling of President Clinton's favorite tunes. I was delighted to find that #42 has terrific taste in music! Jazz-heavy, with selections from Miles Davis, Zoot Sims, and David Sanborn, Judy Collins' "Chelsea Morning" is also on there, as well as Mahalia Jackson's soulful "Take My Hand, Precious Lord." Each track was hand-selected by President Clinton, giving the CD a nice, personal touch. It's a great CD for any music lover, and would be sure to stimulate conversation at any dinner party or social gathering!
Whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, there is one thing that most of us can probably agree on. That is that Bill Clinton has pretty good taste in music. The Bill Clinton Collection, a compilation of songs from the Clinton Presidential Center by Museum Music, shows off some of Bill Clinton's favorite songs. You won't hear any of President Clinton's own saxophone playing, but you will hear some unforgettable jazz classics. Artists featured include Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Nina Simone, and many others. Pop this CD into the player, sit back, and feel like a president! You will really enjoy these great jazz melodies. They will soothe both your mind and soul.
Bill Clinton, sax in hand, graces the cover of his favorites. He said "Well, it's been said that it's easier to understand a nation by listening to its music that by learning its language." Museum Music asked President Clinton to compile a list of his favorites tunes, and they've put it on a CD for all to enjoy. With the sale of these CDs, the profits benefit the William J. Clinton Foundation. It's an interesting mix, with vocalizations by Nina Simone, Mahalia Jackson. Other selections include David Sanborn playing Harlem Nocturne, with a really great arrangement of this tune, long a personal favorite. It's a must-have for fans of Jazz, and it's a really easy way to contribute to the Clinton Foundation. Gospel, jazz, and some other favorites of our ex-pres give us insight into the man, and a collection that is both "diverse and dynamic".

What Is An ECD? An ECD is primarily an audio or music CD; however, it also contains an interactive portion that functions like any CD-ROM. This interactive portion can contain anything from a tour of your museum, zoo, or organization to links to your website – right from the CD!
Proven Rewards. Custom music CDs are a proven way for an organization to expand publicity and consumer awareness, while reinforcing image and reputation. And, Museum Music CDs provide your visitors, customers and patrons with a long-lasting, enjoyable and educational gift which will remind them of your organization for years to come. How Do We Create A CD With Museum Music? The process is simple. First, our team of developers meets with representatives of your organization to fine tune concept ideas and outline the objectives of the project. Our researchers and music historians then compile a list of suggested tracks, in collaboration with you. Museum Music handles all music licensing and/or all production of original music required for the project. Our art department creates all design elements for the packaging and our writers working with you complete the liner notes. Once you give final approval, our production experts take over and, shortly thereafter, finished CDs are ready for shipment and sale.
How Long Does It Take? For a music CD, the production time averages 12 - 16 weeks from start to finish, depending on the size and nature of the project. But we have produced CDs in much shorter turnaround times to meet exhibit opening dates. We can design a production schedule to meet your needs and deadlines. Even on a rush basis!
Retail Support. Museum Music has strong, established relationships with many museums, museum shops, and specialty gift and CD retail outlets, including specialty retail, mail order and online vendors. We are dedicated to this market. And, we are dedicated to our clients!
