Tonight was the opening of Brasserie Cognac on Lexington and 70th, 963 Lexington to be precise. Executive Chef and Partner Florian V. Hugo, above, tells us it opens officially this Friday.

To this day, Serafina has more Movers and Shakers than any other entity ever featured on Whom You Know. We love them for many reasons, but one is that they wanted to work with us in 2009 when we started, and were significantly smaller. Brasserie Cognac on 55th and Broadway, which is still open, was the sixth restaurant reviewed ever on Whom You Know. We published the 223rd in Manhattan today, and we also do Connecticut and Washington DC. The Serafina restaurant group is the only restaurant group we work with in New York (we have begun our coverage of the fabulous Knightsbridge restaurant group in Washington DC). They have a proven ability to show that they care about their guests that dine at their amazing venues in a way that most restaurant groups cannot and is more typical of a single restaurant. We look forward to telling you more about excellence from Florian on the Upper East side!!!!
