He is an excellent candidate for the Boston College Men's Hockey Team!
He has demonstrated excellence in puckhandling
We know for sure the Rangers could use him in their must-win current situation!
We are thrilled to introduce a new star of Peachy's Pet Pals: Murphy Boyle!
His esteemed owner tells us:
Little (for now, anyway) Murphy is a yellow Labrador Retriever, hailing from a family farm in New Jersey. He’s only 10 weeks old, but with a mom who is 60+ lbs and a dad topping out around 80 lbs, he won’t be small for long. I met Murphy when he was 3 weeks old, chosen from a litter of ELEVEN gorgeous pups. He was born heralding the Boston and Irish connections of his human mom… on a day his mom was attending a Dropkick Murphys concert, giving rise to his name.

Murphy is developing an affinity for wineries, outdoor bars and eateries, and generally anywhere he can find people to adore him. As a cute and clumsy puppy, wherever he goes he gets plenty of attention, and he hasn’t yet grasped how or why anyone would be able to walk by him without stopping to pet him and comment on how cute he is. If someone is able to withstand his cuteness and pass by without giving him his due, he follows after them for a few steps with a forlorn, confused look. You’d think his momma didn’t give him enough attention!

He has taken to life in his new home like a champ, easily picking up the potty and sleeping schedules and rules. He’s learning to sit and come, and constantly challenging the admonishments about what IS and IS NOT an acceptable chew toy (shoes and furniture have been spared at this point, but not for lack of trying on Murphy’s part).

Murphy’s current goal (and challenge) is to figure out how to jump up on the couch. He can’t quite make it yet, but that doesn’t stop him from trying… little hops from up close, running-start jumps… he’s tried them all, but just isn’t big enough yet. After several tries, he gets frustrated with the couch continually thwarting his attempts, and lets the couch know how annoyed he is by growling at it.

We look forward to many more adventures with Murphy.
