Oakland jewelry artist Mark Poulin has been known for his whimsical, animal-themed jewelry for over a decade, but his new line of Mother-Daughter Necklace Sets-or Adult-Child as we call them because you don't need to have given birth to love them- create an all-new way to enjoy his designs. Mark Poulin loves drawing and creating cartoon characters. Starting as a ceramic artist, an earthquake led him to work with the less fragile medium of jewelry after a friend convinced him to take a class. He’s been known for his jewelry ever since, infused with a childlike sense of wonder and playfulness. Mark Poulin has since branched out into art prints, pewter charms, and magnetic jewelry with his MarmarSuperstar line and his Modern line includes elegant pearl and colorful vitreous enamel pieces with geometric and organic designs.
