SPORTY PEACHY: Whom You Know Is Proud to Announce Official Coverage of the NHL! Cool Down with Peachy Deegan and Notes from the 2013 NHL Draft!

Who is it hiding behind the masks?  We are extremely excited to unveil our most exciting news ever-we will be covering the NHL!  Stay cool this summer by thinking chilly hockey thoughts to get you through the heat wave.  If you think we know a lot about the other 100 columns or so we've written, keep in mind that Peachy has spent more time in her life watching hockey games than doing any other one single thing.  (Though she was known to read books inbetween periods...and always shopped before the games at the Hartford Civic Center....is it all making sense to you now?)  At Boston College, she wrote a term paper in the History of Sports Class with Professor Andrew Buni on the rise of Americans in the NHL which included an interview with Mark Johnson from the 1980 USA Olympic Hockey Team.
Get excited for more miracles from the most exciting sport on earth!!!!  Who needs air conditioners when you have hockey thoughts.  We were thrilled to meet Rod Gilbert and his wife Judy at the Star Vodka ball back in 2010.
