It's more palm trees & hockey by Epix, and remember that since this is streaming, you can watch it ANYTIME your little heart desires. The game was this past Saturday, and we've published some interviews today in NHL Peachy already.
The high quality of NHL coverage by Epix continues, and this third of four episodes brings challenges of power play issues for the Sharks, while Los Angeles has been all spark plugs and motivation with wins on the road, as the Kings rise to clinch opportunities they must in order to position themselves to defend Lord Stanley properly this spring.
We were delighted to see the old school yellow & purple LA Kings uniforms brought out evocative of the Marcel Dionne era. And we noticed that San Jose has the numbers of players on the front of their jersey, which is helpful.
If you are up to speed on all that is hockey and as devoted as we are, you'll be highly entertained by the human interest sagas of camouflage capers in Arizona, the San Jose Animal Center, and you'll meet the odd couple that has roomed together for years.
We never contemplated the challenge of not being able to select wine well if your nose has been broken too many times, but that and all the humanity of hockey is terrifically interesting to observe. (P.S. to the person that misuses good and well: good is an adjective, well is an adverb...please do not confuse them because we are telling everyone hockey players are smart.)
The narration continues to be gripping and well-written, and shines a light on a sport that supersedes the excellence of the big three American sports - Americans, please be enlightened! This is not only for those that have hockey as a religion but also a great way to learn about the sport in a fun and engaging way for the hockey novice.
Whom You Know Highly Recommends Episode Three of the Stadium Series!
This week's edition of the "Road To the NHL Stadium Series" takes us literally to the dog days of the NHL season, as the Los Angeles Kings and San Jose Sharks adjust to the ebb and flow of hockey's long grind and find inspiration from within. San Jose's Joe Pavelski gives an impassioned locker room speech and then backs up his words with a hat trick, while LA's rising star Tyler Toffoli's first career hat trick keeps the surging Kings on track as they return from a grueling five game eastern trip. Both teams also bring us home for a visit with their favorite dogs, as Toffoli heads to the beach for his latest addition to his family, a rescue dog, while the Sharks Marc-Edouard Vlasic makes a pilgrimage of his own to a rescue shelter in the Bay Area.
