Chez Peachy: Whom You Know Recommends Manhattan Frame and Art by Robin Daas - Remember, it's not What You Frame, it's HOW YOU FRAME IT! Robin Capitalizes on Color Choice and Picks Up Highlights Perfectly!
Think of all of the fabulous ways you celebrate your life and capture your best moments!
We like to concentrate on the positive, and in the midst of spring, it should be your spring cleaning resolution to rescue your favorite portraits and make sure they are framed properly! We have been fortunate to go to events where our likeness was mimicked masterfully by an artist, and to be honest, they sat in a pile for awhile. Framing treasured moments is not a priority all the time, but it should be.
ESPECIALLY now. Because we have combed all of Manhattan to find the best framer ever: Robin Daas.
Robin was first featured for her stunning work in our needlepoint frame:
and her hit parade continued with white on white:
The third part of her review is this fantastically fun frame that is first matted in lime green (see the thin line) set off by white (the genius of white was emphasized in Robin's second review-it puts the attention on what is being framed) and finally, the cherry on top is the thick pink frame, all expertly executed. Robin's work is flawless. We are thrilled.
Peachy was wearing her pink and green Lilly Pulitzer dress, and an artist sketched her in color at an event. (Check out Lilly and Peachy's photo on Peachy's Instagram. We LOVE Lilly). Robin picked out the pink and green perfectly, and her color choice captures the spectrum of your imagination, and certainly your frameable collection.

Robin tells Whom You Know:
My mom opened her first shop down on Christopher Street in 1968. After her untimely death in 2010, it was my privilege to step into her shoes to honor her legacy, keep her indelible spirit alive, build the brand and be of service to her beloved clientele.
Aside from providing our clients with innovative products and outstanding service, we pride ourselves on “doing what we can, where we are, with what we have” to make a difference and support our community from donating framing for Housing Works “Design on a Dime” online auction to serving on Publicolor’s “Stir, Splatter + Roll” benefit committee to help raise money and awareness.
That said, while we state “it’s not just what you frame… it’s how you frame it”, in an effort to “show you what we mean by it” we look forward to the challenge of framing something unique for you!
