Chez Peachy: Celebrate: The Poetry of Life Collections and LivSpoons by Livliga Recommended by Whom You Know! Bravo Brilliant Sheila Kemper Dietrich, Founder and CEO! The Sheila Hit Parade Continues.

More is more, right?
No. That applies to Paul Mayer Attitudes shoe collections only.
LESS is more, and if you don't control what you eat, you'll never fit into the new Julia Jordan collection (we can't wait!) or your other 100 dresses.
Believe it or not, Peachy does not eat all at once exactly what you see in all the culinary endeavors featured.
She's definitely an advocate of portion control and never has gone on a diet in her life, and since she's pretty mathematical and quantitative, she has a good eye for how much is too much. Our new friend Sheila has made this philosophy even simpler with her intelligent business: Livliga. Livliga is dedicated to elegant, attractive portion control with their new line, Celebrate.
Moderation in cuisine is celebrated with Livliga, and we love how detail-oriented Sheila and her business are.
In this collection, there is a large dinner plate, a smaller salad plate, a bowl and a mug.
They match perfectly, and the sayings are evocative of intelligence and life balance, and most importantly, a high quality of life.
Sixteen pieces of perfect porcelain await your next dinner!
We really love the size and shape of the bowls the most in this collection.  They are perfect for oatmeal in the morning.  Some days we drink this quantity of coffee however...!  (That's fine as long as you are putting skim milk in it we think.)
Celebrate: The Poetry of Life is the latest dinnerware line to be introduced by Livliga and the first featured on Whom You Know. It offers the next layer of psychology to support people in living a healthier lifestyle. In addition to all the existing benefits of Livliga, like the shape, size, color, visual illusion and artist design, Celebrate provides inspiring and motivational words and phrases to positively influence people as they eat. As research and  experience shows, words have a profound effect on us and our moods, and we don't have to tell you were are motivated by literature and word choice! Moods directly influence us and what we eat. Celebrate is a way to positively influence our mood so we are able to make better food choices every time we eat.
It is a modern interpretation of a classic French bistro design. The dishes are black and white with stunning etchings of foods and poetry integrated into iconic Livliga dinnerware and will match any kitchen or dining room.  We like that they can be dressed up or down and are wonderfully versatile. Not only is each dish inspiring, it is also visually intuitive as the etchings correspond with the food groups mapped out by the icons on the plate. It now makes serving up the right foods in the recommended amounts even easier.

Best of all, each dish of the 16-piece, service for 4, is unique in words and etchings. This allows for infinite combinations of words and etchings to inspire and support people each day as they embrace a healthier lifestyle. Being able to mix and match this beautiful dishware makes the journey a little more fun too.
Of course, this philosophy extends far beyond the dishes.
Please meet the LivSpoons.
LivSpoons are another benefit of Livliga as they transport the food from the serving spot to your plate in exact portions. We love this kind of detail! LivSpoons are a new and patented concept all about making life easier. They are designed to be both practical and beautiful. They make measuring your food easy and natural to do by having a set of 4 spoons in standard serving sizes: 1 cup, 3/4 cup, 1/2 cup, and 1/8 cup.

With their special design feature- the double bend- you can hang the desired spoon with the bowl you are serving from either right-side up or upside down and this is especially important for Manhattan kitchens where most people need more space. It is all about serving up fresh food in healthy servings. You can enjoy using them in the kitchen, on a buffet or at your dinner table. Eating healthy has now been made mindfully automatic with LivSpoons.
Here is their online catalog with all of their current selections.
Restaurants especially should look here to make your life easier!

Sheila Kemper Dietrich is the Founder and CEO of Livliga, award-winning author and mother of three. This entrepreneur is the inventor of Livliga portion-control dishware, serveware and glassware for adults. She has also created Kidliga, portion-control dishware for children with Moonbeam award-winning children’s storybook, Sammie & Sax in the Land of Quinoa: The Search for a Balanced Meal. The book and accompanying dishware are a fun, engaging, well-designed teaching tool for families focused on creating healthy living habits for life.

Recognizing that dishes have grown by 51% since the 1900's, Sheila created the first Livliga prototypes by hand at a local “paint your own” pottery store and started using them with her family as their primary dinnerware set. They found they enjoyed the appealing design of the dishes, while feeling satisfied after eating appropriate servings at each meal. Sheila and her husband each lost over 50 pounds while their daughter lost over 20 pounds and regularly share recipes and tips on the Livliga blog

Sheila has more than 20 years of leadership experience. Most of her professional career has been in trust and wealth management in the banking industry. She is an expert in research, focus groups, product launches, as well as assisting non-profit organizations with their strategic growth and financial stability. Her expertise led a multi-billion dollar Trust & Wealth Management division at UMB Bank to be the fastest growing and most profitable part of that organization.

Kemper Dietrich has been recognized by many organizations for her community leadership. This passion for making the world a better place has manifested itself throughout her life. In addition to her board and volunteer leadership it also includes her years as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (formerly known as Zaïre) Africa, and her leadership as CEO and Executive Director of both PATH International and The Denver Division of the American Heart Association.
