NIGHTLIGHT: Resource Furniture

On February 26, Peachy Deegan attended the grand opening of the Resource Furniture showroom in the heart of the design district! Whom You Know liked the sharp, clean, modern look of the store and highly recommends it.

Founded in 2000 by Steve Spett and Ron Barth (who has a very nice sister! Karen Barth is the talented artist responsible for the displays in the showroom), Resource Furniture has gained a reputation for providing Interior Designers, Architects and Specifiers access to European Furniture not widely distributed in the US. Resource Furniture has always aimed to provide clients with the finest of European furnishings at competitive prices, with speedy delivery and a focus on unmatched customer service.

Resource Furniture is the national distributor of Italian manufacturer i4 Mariani, which produces the most exquisite contemporary residential and office furniture. In the top photo is the Kristall sofa, which Whom You Know will use as an example of Resource Furniture's commitment to excellence.

i4 Mariani manufactures all of its products exactly to client specifications and can deliver these custom pieces from Italy in about 8 weeks. The manufacturing process is truly unique in terms of the quality of materials and assembly. From the seasoned hardwood frame to the virtually indestructible chrome base to the broad selection of seating densities and the limitless options of high grade fabrics and leathers, meticulous attention to detail assures top quality products time after time. The reason for all of this care and attention to detail is that i4 Mariani builds sofas and all other furniture to last an indefinite period with the expectation that you will get a lifetime of use from one of their products.

Resource Furniture is also the national distributor of Italian manufacturer Clei, which produces unique and innovative dual-purpose wall beds (we call them “Space Savers”.) Collectively, there are over 20 systems in this line including twin, queen, and bunk bed systems, all of which can come with either a sofa, desk, or shelving option as its second function. They are all made to order in virtually any fabric, and a wide selection of laminates, veneers, and lacquers. These are perfect for everyone with space constraints. We have sold these systems to all walks of life.
