Fashion Alert: BRITNEY SPEARS WEARS MARLIES|DEKKERS DESIGNS DURING HER CIRCUS TOUR

March 4th 2009 - Last evening, Britney Spears started her Circus tour with a first concert in New Orleans and wowed the audience with a sparkling marlies|dekkers bra! Britney’s stylists for the tour, Frank Strachan and William Baker, expressed their interest to collaborate with The Dutch lingerie designer last January. Britney chose to wear the bra from Marlies’ Powerful Grace collection. Her special wish was to cover the design with black crystals… The result is a sparkling Powerful Grace bra covered with crystals from the famous Swarovski line "CRYSTALLIZEDTM - Swarovski Elements".

Besides the Powerful Grace bra, Britney also hit the stage wearing a black brief from the spring|summer 2009 Célestine collection.

Marlies feels very proud about the collaboration with Britney Spears; “The motto behind my company and designs is ‘dare to be’ and Britney is definitely a woman who dares to be…. After a fantastic comeback she looks more powerful than ever!”
