A Caring Hand, The Billy Esposito Foundation – Proudly Presents the 7th Annual Fundraising Gala UPDATE

A dedicated NYC Bereavement center that provides counseling for children and families to cope with the loss of a loved one…and we need your help to continue meeting the demands of this center.

New York City, New York - A Caring Hand, The Billy Esposito Foundation; proudly presents the 7th Annual event – Handing Our Children a Brighter Future. The Fundraising Gala will be held Thursday April 30th, 2009 at the Altman Building from 6-10pm. All funds raised will go toward A Caring Hand, the Billy Esposito Bereavement Center.

The mission of A Caring Hand of ACH is to meet bereaved children and families wherever they are in their grief and fulfill their needs in a caring and knowledgeable environment through services to help them with their emotional journey and financial assistance to aid their future education.

Coping with a loss is extremely difficult and A Caring Hand wants to be there for children and their families in their time of need. It is the only free-standing bereavement center in New York City and has helped change the lives of so many families in need since its opening!

The Gala will feature many special guests and celebrities, supporting the wonderful cause and raising awareness, to help the center. This will be a celebrity-studded event, including Countess LuAnn de Lesseps of Bravo’s hit series “Real Housewives of NYC”, winner of Survivor, Africa as well as last year’s honoree Ethan Zohn, Scott Herman of MTV’s hit series Real World, Brooklyn; recently crowned Kristen Dalton - Miss USA 2009, performance by singer Kim Sozzi, FUSE Host & Musician Jared Cotter, singer/songwriter from Los Angeles – Chase Emery, The Real Housewives of New Jersey – Dina Manzo & Caroline Manzo; amongst other names to be announced. Recognition awards will be presented to several families that have lost a loved one at the Gala.

A silent auction will take place with incredible auction items consisting of Nina Ricci watch collection, JR Yates men’s jewelry, weekend NYC Hotel stays, and NYC dinner raffles. All food will be provided by A.J. Maxwell’s, Bobby Van’s, Danal, Grandaisy Bakery, Ivy Bakery, Macelleria, Planet Thailand, Po, Ricard Chocolat, Vermicelli and Victor’s Café. Drinks will be sponsored by: AOC Fine Wines, Brooklyn Brewery, Bulldog Gin, Tommy Bahama Rum and One Natural Experience.
