Although Whom You Know is all about drinking champagne and picking out gowns, sometimes we love our Jeans and the casual look (even this morning, Peachy Deegan strolled around at the Met checking out the new exhibit opening tomorrow in her JEANS.) So, Whom You Know readers, it is nearly 5pm and quitting time means time to relax and sport some denims! And we found a great place for you to pick them up: The Jean Shop!

The Jean Shop was founded in April of 2003, by Eric Goldstein, Gene Montesano and Barry Perlman. Gene and Barry are the founders of Lucky Brand Inc, as well as many other entrepreneurial businesses. Eric has five years experience with RRL and ten years with the Gap Inc. The goal of the company is to manufacture classically styled garments with the highest quality craftsmanship and components. Peachy Deegan loves the classics!

They do not do any marketing, advertising or PR; everything that is written is editorial. Whom You Know likes this. A fabulous product sells itself!

Jean Shop manufactures products in 11 countries including USA, Korea, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Hong Kong, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Holland and Japan. All of their denim products are manufactured in Los Angeles. All of their fabric is manufactured in Japan.

Jean Shop has two retail locations in New York.

All of their denim products are sewn in the USA, using the best components available through the world. They offer our jeans in Men’s, Women’s and kids sizes:

Men’s: three fits in sizes 27”-42”

Women’s: four fits in sizes 24”-31”

All of the jeans are offered in three lengths 29.5”, 32.5” and 35.5”

In addition to classic 5 pocket jeans they also offer, denim shirts and jackets, leather shirts and jackets and a complete line of accessories. Everything is washed and processed in their office in NY City, to give it a relaxed slightly vintage look.
