Did you know that ovarian cancer is the deadliest gynecologic cancer because there is neither a screening test nor a cure? It's true and the result is about 22,000 women in this country will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2009 and more than 15,000 women will die from the disease. Early recognition of ovarian cancer symptoms is still the best way to save women's lives because when detected and treated early, the five year survival rate is greater than 90%.
Melanie Finley is the founder of the foundation and is an ovarian cancer survivor and wants to share her experiences and knowledge about this deadly disease with the hope of saving other women’s lives.
Proceeds will benefit The Melanie Finley Ovarian Cancer Foundation

The Melanie Finley Ovarian Cancer Foundation is a grassroots charitable organization that was incorporated in 2008 to raise money for Ovarian Cancer education and direct financial assistance to young women who have been diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. By helping young women become aware of ovarian cancer symptoms, it is the hope that we will be able to make a difference and help them diagnose the ‘whispering killer’ before it can affect another life. With your support we can provide awareness and direct financial assistance to young women for this very costly disease
