MOVERS AND SHAKERS: Stuart Hirsch, Hair Artist
Stuart Hirsch has been gracing the heads of an elite clientele with the color of their dreams since he begun his career in beauty at Vidal Sassoon. Stuart moved onto Pierre Michelle where at the ripe age of 23 he was doing hair for movies with Paramount Entertainment. His work can be seen on Reckless, New York Nights, Chaka Kahn and MTV. The Stuart Hirsch client list is endless! By the age of 26, Stuart became an owner of a salon on Madison Avenue where he continued to fine-tune his craft. After a couple of years passed, Dinmar became the hottest celebrity and socialite spot so Stuart changed paces and went to work at Dinmar for five years. Once the Dinmar salon cooled down, Stuart went back to the Pierre Michelle salon where he stayed for 16 years. Stuart was a master colorist with an ever-lasting clientele consisting of the New York crowd as well as his celebrity clients. Stuart had the VIP room at Pierre Michelle, where he also needed two assistants! Stuart moved to Warren Tricomi salon while planning his downtown salon that has now been open for nearly two years and continues to grow. Stuart's philosophy is to bring uptown clients downtown!!!!
Uptown girl Peachy Deegan herself took this downtown route recently which yielded fabulous results and endless complements at the Paper magazine beautiful people party last night.
