TASTY TIDBITS: Atlantic Grill

What could be more fabulous than fish on the Upper East side? Peachy Deegan cannot imagine anything better! When she is not writing articles for Whom You Know (what! she isn't ALWAYS writing? No: of course she is out in search of the latest, greatest thing to tell you about!) Peachy spends her time dreaming about crab legs, lobster, shrimp, and all the lovely items you can find at Atlantic Grill.

Ride the tide to Atlantic Grill, the Upper East Side neighborhood favorite! Voted one of the 50 most popular restaurants in New York in the 2008 Zagat (with a top raw bar), Atlantic Grill is the place to go for your seafood and sushi fix.

The bright, 200-seat space complete with bistro chairs, framed photos, baby blue walls and skylight might make you feel like you sailed into Cape Cod but Peachy feels like it's home in Florida. You may not have left New York's harbor, but one thing is sure: their seafood is just as fresh.

Choose from among crowd-pleasing favorites from the Atlantic - or the Pacific - like the Maryland Crab Cake with Chipotle Remoulade, or the Popular Nori Wrapped Big Eye Tuna with Stir Fry Bok Choy Sticky Rice, and Wasabi Soy Vinaigrette.

Additionally, the menu of classic desserts will leave you with an increased gym obligation, happily!, including the Molten Chocolate Cake and Chef's Creme Brulee.

Looking for lighter fare in the earlier hours? Then try the $24.07 prix-fixe lunch or stop by on Sunday for brunch specials like the popular Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict or the blueberry, banana or chocolate chip pancakes.

Whom You Know recommends a visit to one of Peachy Deegan's favorites!
