The Model As Muse: Whom You Know's Best of the Exhibit

Peachy Deegan attended this press preview this morning and LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVES this exhibit!

Her favorite part is the models in the Ralph Lauren gowns featured at the top with broken champagne bottles. They look like the most fun in the entire exhibit! Also, it reminds Peachy of her fabulous friend Paige Stanley Miller (a Mover and Shaker) who is a champagne cocktail expert who even signs her emails: "Bubbly Best." Especially appropriate in the background is the George Michael video to the song "Freedom."

The exhibit takes you through the decades of the Model as Muse, as expected, starting in the 1940's. This brings us back to the era of the famous Deegan girls, featured all the time out in Manhattan at the bottom of the page of Whom You Know from this same decade. The 1960's, 70's and 90's seemed to be the most concentrated on and it goes all the way through today with Kate Moss and Gisele.

Words really do not do this exhibit justice-as soon as it opens to the public TOMORROW you should all head straight for the Met to see it!

Featured in the bottom photo is a mannequin in Brooke Shield's outfit-perhaps we will see Brooke at the Divalyssious Moms events this week...
