NIGHTLIGHT: SURFACE MAGAZINE AND DOM NY ANNOUNCE THE DEBUT OF VALCUCINE’S ALL-GLASS KITCHEN
Surface Magazine and DOM New York are pleased to announce the debut of the RICICLANTA, the new all-glass kitchen by Valcucine. Coinciding with New York Design Week and The International Contemporary Furniture Fair, the RICICLANTICA debuted at the DOM/Valcucine Showroom at 66 Crosby Street on Friday, May 15th.
DOM NY debuted a revolutionary new Valcucine glass kitchen cabinetry in an exhibition dedicated to the benefits of the “Slow Food” movement. Deemed “the environmental-friendly kitchen”, the Riciclantica is a kitchen designed to have a low impact on the environment and represents the most advanced technology to express the shape of lightness. Thanks to research into and application of special innovative technologies, this door respects the four basic principles of environmental-friendliness: minimum consumption of raw materials and energy, durability, recyclability and non-toxic finishes.
Famed Chef Peter Hoffman of Savoy restaurant, dedicated to seasonal and local ingredients was on hand to prepare a special hors d’oeuvres tasting menu for the celebration.
