So of course when we visited London, we visited the Nespresso at Harrods, one of the world’s most famous department stores!

The Boutique, situated on the 2nd floor of Harrods, is the third Nespresso Boutique in the UK, and with two further venues launching later in the year, Nespresso’s growth throughout the UK, and indeed worldwide is unrivalled. Harrods represents the largest of the existing Boutiques in the UK and Ireland at 72 square metres, and will feature a full range of Nespresso machines, as well as a tasting bar allowing visitors to sample the extensive range of Premium Blends available.

The area provides the ultimate coffee experience. With a team of specialists on hand to share their expertise on the twelve Premium Blends available, the range of machines, the selection of accessories and the Nespresso Club services; customers can immerse themselves in the world of Nespresso. The Boutique, designed by Swiss architects Concept Consultant, will display 24 different Nespresso machines, the full collection of accessories including the stylish porcelain collection, glasses and Nespresso delicacies such as chocolates and cantuccini. Accessories for the machines are also available for example, the new Aeroccino +, which automatically creates cold or hot milk froth at the touch of a button.

The new Boutique also sees the launch of a Limited Edition of the award-winning Essenza coffee machine, which is adorned with brilliant black and silver Swarovski crystals. Just eight of these machines are available from Harrods, the proceeds of which will go to the Rainforest Alliance Education Programme. Nespresso has committed a minimum donation of US$10,000 specifically to the programme in Guatemala’s Maya Biosphere Reserve.

Harrods is a new addition to Nespresso’s rapidly expanding locations across the world, including Paris’ Champs Elysees and New York’s Madison Avenue.
