Have you heard about Designs By Lolita? http://www.thelolitastore.com. Back in 2001 Lolita went out on a girl’s night out and ordered a Cosmopolitan. She noticed that the stemware looked boring and naked and needed something fun for a girl’s night out! The artist in her decided to start hand-painting and selling glasses out of her basement. With two babies hanging onto her legs, she worked night and day. She would sell about 2,000 glasses a year. Today she sells over 4 million! Each glass represents special moments and personalities in life and contains a recipe on the bottom. They go for about $25. She recently launched a scented gel candle line, ice cream sundae bowls, and “Pink Ribbon” glasses in the fight against breast cancer.
