Eat Drink and be Healthy: Cancer Prevention

Question from Whom You Know:
What are the best things anyone can do to prevent cancer, nutritionally?

Answer from our expert, Karim Fugel, CHHC, Reiki Practitioner, CST:
Avoid eating foods that the body cannot process - HFCS, sugar, processed white flour products, transfats - in fact avoid all highly processed foods and be sure to eat a wide variety of whole, unrefined foods. Red meats and dairy products should be kept to a minimum and increase fiber-rich foods including vegetables - for cancer prevention be sure to focus on the cruciferous types - broccoli, cauliflower, bok choi, brussel sprouts.
