Tasty Tidbits: THE STANDARD GRILL

It's Friday and a lovely night to go out in our new black Donna Ricco dress, shown directly below- and how great it would look as we sit at the bar here and drink champagne at the hottest spot near the High Line! The Standard Grill - located at André Balazs' new hotel The Standard, New York - is now open for dinner and drinks, serving a daily changing menu that is a blend of traditional meat market chop houses with New American Grill sensibilities. The Standard, New York, built over the High Line in the Meatpacking District, is the fourth Standard hotel, with locations in Hollywood, Downtown LA, and Miami. We strolled by it last weekend when we checked out the High Line!

The menu is a blend of traditional meat market chop houses with New American Grill sensibilities. The cooking emphasizes traditional technique and contemporary flavors – the classics updated and perfected. The Standard Grill’s daily changing menu will feature meats and fish thoughtfully prepared to enhance the taste clarity of their primary ingredient.
