Azure by Nouveau Paris

And we are now pleased to present our first product review for it!

Our panel members commented:

"My first impression of Azure was: 'Wow, fancy packaging, this is going to be too strong for a regular dude like myself.' I mean, the packaging would make great gift-giving because it's double-boxed and has a black ribbon tied around the outside. Classy. But I was still thinking the packaging might be some lame attempt to give the appearance of quality to a product that would bowl me over at the first whiff."

"I gave the bottle two sprays and walked through the mist - my preferred method of cologne application. And then I judged the scent on my top two criteria: 1) Does it give me an immediate headache? (It did not. Nor did it make me sneeze or regret I'd tested it on my actual body rather than on one of those cardboard things you get at the cologne counter.)
and 2) Does anyone within smelling distance seem offended? (No, again. My wife actually gave her immediate approval.)
Having passed the two basic tests, I gave the scent a little more thought. Unlike most other men's colognes, this one's clean scent has nothing to do with mountain springs or the sporty scent of an athlete before a workout. Azure's fresh scent is citrus-y - not like a sticky sweet canned lemon-lime flavored drink or a can of lemon fresh floor cleaner, but more akin to a tall glass of seltzer with just enough squeeze of fresh lime to give a hint of flavor."

"Azure has staying power, and I like that, too. It doesn't come on strong, but offers hours of its light, fresh scent even at the end of a work day. And it's versatile, making it unnecessary to have different colognes for work and play, a night out with the guys or a night out with a lady."
