Sephora sets two GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® at 5 Times Square store opening event, with appearances by Taylor Momsen, Adrienne Bailon, Alexandra and Theodora Richards, and Lauren Luke

Who: Taylor Momsen, star of hit series “Gossip Girl,” Adrienne Bailon, actress and singer-songwriter, Alexandra and Theodora Richards, models and rock royalty, Lauren Luke, makeup maven and YouTube glamour gal, the Sephora PRO Beauty Team, along with a who’s who of the beauty, fashion and entertainment worlds, celebrated the grand opening of Sephora 5 Times Square on Friday, July 31st.

What: The opening day events included a Sephora Square Takeover where beauty buffs participated in breaking two glamorous GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS®. With the support of DJ KISS and Z100’s Carolina Bermudez, Sephora PRO Beauty Team Member, Jerry Hutchinson, set the new GUINNESS WORLD RECORD® for the Most Lipstick Applications by an Individual in One Hour! Then, Sephora PRO Beauty Team Members exceeded their goal of 60 makeovers, setting a second GUINNESS WORLD RECORD® for the Most Cosmetic Makeovers by a Team of Five in One Hour!

When: Friday July 31, 2009

Opening day events included:

· 9am-9:30am: Alexandra and Theodora Richards participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony at Sephora 5 Times Square followed by a shopping spree at the fabulous new store!

· 11am-12pm: Sephora experts made clients twice as pretty with complimentary Express Services.

· 12pm – 1pm: Sephora sets the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD® for the most lipstick applications by one person in one hour. Adrienne Bailon participated by getting a pretty red pout.

· 2pm - 3pm: Lauren Luke hosted her very own beauty contest, the BY LAUREN LUKE Challenge.

· 3pm – 4pm: Sephora set the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD® for the most cosmetic makeovers by a team of five in one hour! Taylor Momsen supported the fans participating in the beauty-themed challenged.

· 4pm – 5pm: TEMPTU AIRbrush Revolution made New York blush with over 200 blush applications!
