Peachy Deegan is captured by Tommy Hilfiger's Men's and Women's Spring 2010 Collection; The All-American Look is SO Whom You Know
A definite highlight of Fashion Week for Peachy Deegan, Editor-In-Chief of Whom You Know, was the Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2010 Men's and Women's Collection. He even waved for us in the above picture and hats off to his sharp new collection! It was a home-run for Tommy and America! This line will capture the nation-but first of course those of us in Manhattan will embrace it - particularly in regards to the opening of his new fifth avenue location.
Inspired by the American way - a nod to a California boardwalk, the line made Peachy want to wish away the next seven months and fast forward to April so she can start wearing these fabulous looks now! Her favorite in the show is this black and white geometric dress-the diagonal lines are absolutely stunning.
The clothes were unpretentious and classic and Tommy Hilfiger did an equally commendable job with the men's line:
By mid-show, Peachy was feeling a bit beachy and thought Tommy was on the money with these looks that were swimmingly successful, and would be on more than just the standard model body-type that we see in the shows:
Structure met flow with the use of several materials such as canvas, twill and leather. Featherweight jerseys and silks were also a part of the whole look that captured the beauty of the Pacific composing a paradox that was both soothing and stimulating.
Neutral colors dominated the color choices as well as blues for the sky and water. It was so all Go America, GO! www.goamericago.com
The Spring 2010 collection debuts this week at the Tommy Hilfiger store on 5th Avenue here in Manhattan!
