More recent standout vintages of Bordeaux from both banks are available in abundance, including 82’s, 88’s, 90’s, 95’s, and 96’s, nearly all in full case lots with original wooden cases. Rounding out the sale is a consignment of small-production Burgundies from the cellar of one of America’s great Burgundy experts, D.C. Flynt, MW. The selection includes a number of rarely seen items well-suited for Burgundy collectors and devotees, including Moine-Hudelot, Rapet, and Ampeau.
The total sale of over 350 lots is expected to realize in excess of $1.3 million. During the sale, registered bidders are invited to enjoy a complimentary tasting of wines, including 1982 Cheval Blanc and 1999 Musigny Vielles Vignes, among others.
