NIGHTLIGHT: Amelia! Pilot Peachy attends the lovely soiree by Vanity Fair, Fox Searchlight and Bloomingdale's

At the Paris theatre tonight, guests were treated to Amelia, the fabulous new flick about Amelia Earhart's life starring Hilary Swank and Richard Gere. Afterwards, the crowd flocked to Bloomingdale's where we were given the opportunity to drink prosecco amongst the Lilly Pulitzer wear that we love at the cocktail party. Peachy Deegan met several fabulous guests but she must admit that Harry Connick Jr. was the most charming, classy and pleasant that she hadn't met previously. Of course she was happy to see our Mover and Shaker, Colin Cowie in attendance who is equally superb:

The consensus was that the movie was historically accurate and well done with a storyline that commanded attention. We of course loved the subject matter as we grew up in an aviation-positive atmosphere, so much so in fact that we have a Pilot Peachy column, and in our Read This column the fabulous Whom You Know panel is reviewing "Highest Duty" by Captain Chelsey "Sully" Sullenberger. In fact, some members of this panel could be burning the midnight oil reading it right now! It is great so far....we must say at Whom You Know that Aviation is in!
Now we must tune in to another author that we love, Craig Ferguson.
