Peachy's Morning at The Met: Velázquez Rediscovered

We first told you about this last week:
http://www.whomyouknow.com/2009/11/recently-rediscovered-velazquez.html

This morning we attended the press preview and thought the Velázquez exhibit was one not to be missed! Be sure to read the "Portrait of a Man Unveiling Technique and Intention." Located on the second floor of the Met a few rooms to the right of the main staircase in the Center, this exhibit is not large but a lot of thought went into it. We enjoyed the two portraits of Maria Therese the most: she was the daughter of Philip IV of Spain and Isabella, and went on to become the Queen of France! Whom You Know recommends Velazquez Rediscovered.
