Whom You Know Highly Recommends the Troy Built Dual Stage 277cc Snowblowers at Lowes!
We finally got our first storm of the 2009/2010 season, and it was nasty. And any other year I would have dreaded the news of such a big winter storm because of the shoveling that is involved. Don’t get me wrong, I love a big snow storm as much as anyone in the northeast, but I can do without the sore back and arms – not to mention the cold fingers and toes! This was not the case this time around. Instead, I was anxiously awaiting this snow storm because I was armed with the best snow throwing equipment from LOWES. I recently acquired the Troy Built Dual Stage 277cc (model # 139966) – a brand new machine available at LOWES. Kudos to Lowes selection in equipment, but most of all kudos to Lowes sales/support staff.
I walked into Lowes on Friday and told them I needed to get my Troy Built Dual Stage’s 277cc of pure power (model # 139966) up and running and asked “What do I need?” They set me up with a new 5 gallon gas can, stabilizer for the fuel during the winter months, oil and shear pins. They took time to explainto me that the machine had oil in the tank already, but that it should be changed after 5 hours of use, and they also told me that I should have extra shear pins and showed me how to change them when necessary. They gave me an in depth run-through of how to start, operate and care for the machine. When I left Lowes, I felt I was ready for any snow storm and to tell you the truth, I was a little giddy about my new toy.
To quote Tommy Boy – “That was awesome!!!” I woke up on Sunday morning, had my OJ and pancakes, got bundled up, and headed outside. The Snow was so deep – 23” of fallen snow as well as huge snow drifts. This was the perfect storm to test this Troy Built Dual Stage 277cc (model # 139966) snow thrower. I started the machine using the electric start and it started with ease. It was go time! This machine ate through the snow like a knife cutting warm butter. It threw the snow a good 25 feet (probably more) with ease, but the great thing about it was that I could control where the snow went – left, right, straight, high or low – all with a simple push or pull of the control lever. I was so excited by the power of this machine I decide to head right for the hardest part – the snow-plowed entrance to my driveway. Usually this would take me an hour just to shovel this one section, but the Troy built cut through the packed snow, ice and slush in 3 swipes. I was amazed and relieved that it was this easy. The performance of this was machine was spectacular, but what makes this machine stand out is the heated handle grips. That is right people, I said heated handle grips. Talk about luxury! My hands were nice and toasty the whole time I was using the machine. Not once did I feel even a twinge of cold.
I have a rather large circular driveway and in the past only had the time and energy to work my way up one of the entrances and shovel enough of it to park two cars. Just this lame attempt at snow removal would take me a few hours to clear. With the Troy Built Dual Stage 277cc (model # 139966), I did the whole driveway in less than 45 minutes – and in the midst of blizzard conditions!
From the customer service, to the electric start, heated handle grips, and ease of controls, the Troy Built Dual Stage’s 277cc of pure power makes this machine (model # 139966) the best buy for your money. And the exceptional knowledge and service provided by Lowes means Lowes is the best place to make this kind of purchase.
