The Veuve Cliquot Ponsardin Rose is simply one of the best champagnes there is, according to Peachy Deegan. It is sweet without being overly sweet, the effervescence of the bubbles, the festive color and the overall experience of drinking the Champagne is simply divine. The structure is stong without being overpowering. We understand Veuve was the first house to export a rose champagne-to Switzerland in 1775. The Veuve Cliquot Ponsardin Rose we believe would go well with most everything-but that is because we LOVE it. It is happiness in a bottle.

Tasting Notes: Veuve Clicquot Rosé is an elegant wine with delightful aromas of fruit and brioche. The wine is perfectly balanced, elegant and lovely in its quiet strawberry fruit.

Composition: Grapes from as many as 50 to 60 different Crus are blended to create Veuve Clicquot Rosé.

50 – 55% Pinot Noir

15 – 20% Pinot Meunier

28 – 33% Chardonnay

12% Red Wine

The blend includes a high percentage of reserve wine (up to 40 percent) to ensure consistency with Veuve Clicquot style and taste. The 12 percent of red wine gives spectacular balance to this Rosé.

Occasion: Veuve Clicquot Rosé is delicious in early bloom and is a wonderful aperitif.
