Caesar's Potato Gnocchi Recommended by Whom You Know!

Caesar’s Potato Gnocchi are a perfect meal for our family.  We’re not a gluten-free household, but having a child with other food allergies definitely makes things difficult.  This product is not only gluten free and vegan, it’s also free of egg and dairy, and to us that makes all the difference.   Many frozen past meals have egg in them and as a rule we skip them in favor of the dry, boxed variety.  This Potato Gnocchi, however, meet all of our requirements – allergy-friendly, quick, and tasty!  They take only 2 minutes or so in boiling water.  What’s easier than that?  I unfortunately ruined a batch with some homemade sauce that was questionable, but I can’t blame that on Caesar’s.  

Gnocchi is one of my favorite pasta varieties due to its wonderful doughy texture and chewy-ness.  Caesar's Pasta Specialties gets it just right with their variety of Potato Gnocchis.  I can't emphasize how quick and easy it is to prepare these gnocchis, literally just 3 minutes in a pot of boiling water, strain and they're done.  There are different ways to serve them, I actually prepared them 2 straight days in a row: the first time, they were drizzled with olive oil and tomato sauce; and the second time, I threw them into a chicken and vegetable soup, which became a different variation of chicken and dumpling soup.
 Both methods of preparation yielded delicious and comfort food-like results.  Another plus is the the gnocchis came in a larger size, thus the chewy texture is likelier to stay intact after cooking and the ridges hold the sauce very well.



One of Caesar's newer products are the gnocchi varietals. I tried the potato gnocchi, gluten free, completely free of any animal product. This is another great dish for heartier pasta dish and gnocchi lovers, and can be prepared in as little as three minutes. The potato dumplings are well made, and very homemade looking, and therefore stay together and lock in the nice flavor of the pasta. I am a big gnocchi fan, and I can say that this dish prepared quite well and had a proper al dente consistency. I would recommend the potato gnocchi due to it's ease of preparation and authenticity.
