Cheese Lasagna by Caesar's Pasta Products is a Hit with the Peachy's Pantry Panel!

A week ago I couldn’t say enough about Caesar’s Vegetable Lasagna, and now I’m back to absolutely rave about the Cheese Lasagna.   So, maybe there are more calories, and I guess it’s not quite as nutritious without the serving of veggies, but it tastes SOOOOOO good.  The noodles are of course the same (rice noodles – gluten free!) and the sauce is just as delicious, the only “difference” is that the Cheese Lasagna has more cheese.  And who doesn’t appreciate more cheese?  As with other Caesar’s entrees, the serving size was more than generous.  Truthfully, half serving with a salad at lunch even seemed a little gluttonous.  But when all was said and done, and I was stuffed, I still ate the other half.  Another winner from Caesar’s!

While being quite the pasta fan, lasagna is one of the very few pasta entrees that I've never tried to make from scratch.  It always seemed a bit complicated, getting the texture of the pasta just so while balancing out the cheese and sauce.  It's good to know that with Caesar's Pasta Specialties' Cheese Lasagna in Marinara Sauce, I don't need to struggle with making a homemade version when theirs is this tasty and quick to prepare.  Normally, reheating frozen pasta dishes yields unpredictable results, it never tastes quite like freshly prepared pasta but I think the Caesar's variety comes pretty close. The pasta is firm, the cheese is smooth and the marinara sauce is
lighter & less acidic than marinara sauce usually is, which I actually prefer.
