Sophisticated Whom You Know Entertaining Panel Enthusiastically Recommends The Little Pink Book of Entertaining by The Peter Pauper Press

Preppy Peachy prefers the Peter Pauper Press, so she had her exquisitely classy Whom You Know Panel review "The Little Pink Book of Entertaining."  This is not a panel of ladies who lunch here and there; this panel is compromised of some of the most socially aware and accomplished women we know who of course prefer to remain a mystery.  Since this is such a relevant topic for us, it is not merely a book review: this is an entry into both Daylight and Nightlight.  We go out so much to soirees we are not often home entertaining in Manhattan, but when we do, we do it in style and we do it right.  Thank goodness we have this handy guide to advise us how when a question comes up.  We would never want a social faux pas!

Party with panache! This Little Pink Book of Entertaining: The Modern Guide to Celebrating with Style shows you the easy way.   A crash course in today's casual-chic entertaining, it provides creative party ideas and handy checklists to help you simplify and enjoy!
Covers ''entertaining 101,'' planning your event, classic party ideas, ideas for special occasions, and more! A great gift book for the hip hostess in your life!
Concealed wire-o binding; book lies flat for ease of use; elastic band place holder.

The panel commented:

Being someone who's shied away from throwing a party at my home for years now[because I am out nearly every night], even when the desire was there, I can honestly say The Little Pink Book of Entertaining may have just given me enough inspiration and confidence to go ahead and throw that party!  I'm a big believer that party-planning and entertaining need not be an exercise that is so time and labor-intensive as to scare anyone away from attempting it again (or for the first time, in my case).  This book is a short read, going over the essentials of throwing a fab party (i.e. picking a theme, decor, food & drinks, and the role of the hostess) and never overwhelming you with extra info that you don't need.  I find the suggestions are very geared towards our times too, we're all extremely busy and finances are tight.  But it's times like this when we especially need a party!  Armed with a book like this, I don't think I can go wrong, so save that date, there's a party coming up at my place soon!

"The Little Pink Book of Entertaining" proved to be a wonderful pocketsize book with all the possibilities of celebrating from the small dinner parties, to the large family holiday gatherings. This informative  book is great for those of us that get so overwhelmed with the details of entertaining to the "Martha Stewarts" who know the "how, when, where, what and why's" of planning.  A wealth of knowledge that will make entertaining a joy. Great job Peter Pauper Press.
