A leader in innovatively designed, hard anodized nonstick cookware, Circulon refreshes its assortment with two new collections featuring modern styling, Circulon® Contempo and Circulon® Espree.  Available at retail nationwide this fall, the two collections mark the brand’s 25th anniversary, which officially begins in 2010.      Constructed of highly durable, professional heavy gauge hard-anodized aluminum, a material that is twice as hard as stainless steel, new Circulon Contempo and Circulon Espree Cookware provide fast and even heating and eliminate hot spots for perfect cooking results every time.

A boon to health-conscious cooks looking to cook with less fats, and anyone who wants to limit clean-up time in the kitchen, Circulon Contempo and Circulon Espree feature Circulon’s signature Total® Nonstick Food Release System.  This superior High-Low wave technology, coupled with the most advanced nonstick surface available, offers extraordinary food release and lifelong durability.  Preparing foods that are usually prone to sticking is never a challenge as all foods easily slide off the cooking surface, even when little or no oil or butter is used.  Additionally, Circulon’s specially engineered nonstick surface protects the pans from excessive abrasion caused by metal utensils.

Designed with a youthful eye and contemporary sensibility, new Circulon Contempo and Circulon Espree Cookware feature stylish, ergonomically designed handles and lids that are double riveted to prevent loosening.  The sleek and comfortable stainless steel and black silicone handles provide a secure, slip-free grasp.

The specially designed Circulon Contempo and Circulon Espree handles include hinged metal loops that can either be tucked in for placement in drawers and shelves, or turned out to hang the cookware on rack hooks.  For added space saving efficiency, the expertly designed knob handles allow the lids to conveniently slide over the pans’ handles.

Both cookware collections are designed with gently dome-shaped lids made of translucent, break-resistant glass rimmed in stainless steel, which allow for easy monitoring of the cooking process without loosing heat and compromising flavor and nutrients. Perfect for any recipe that requires oven cooking, Circulon Contempo and Circulon Espree are oven-safe to 400°F.

Available in early October 2009, new Circulon Espree will be offered at Macy’s and macys.com.  Available in late October/early November, Circulon Contempo will be offered at Bed Bath & Beyond, Bon Ton and Sears.  The complete assortment for each collection includes:
