March 13 - Ready, Set, Start your Seeds! - All winter long, gardeners' mailboxes overflow with seed catalogues that offer inspiration, mind-boggling options and best of all, the thought of good green things growing after the long, cold winter. Join the Garden Education Center of Greenwich to begin by looking at different varieties of leafy greens, cold crops, cucurbits, legumes, nightshades, alliums and root vegetables and how their seeds are sown. The GEC will help you consider the best choices for a host of different garden conditions with a hands-on tutorial including an assortment of veggie seeds to sow and propagation supplies to bring home will be included. Members, $45 and non-members, $55. March 16 - A Morning For Moms: Kids, Kitchens and Food - Ring's End Lumber will host a free "Morning for Moms" seminar in the Kitchen Design Center of the Wilton store. Color Consultant Rita T will be on hand to guide moms in an exploration of "New Colors in the Kitchen" and Michele Liguori will share tips on encouraging children to eat healthy foods, "Getting Beyond Pasta, Pizza and Nuggets."  Ring's End Kitchen & Bath Designers Christina Devos and Holly Wright will also be on hand to answer questions.
