HONOREES AND CELEBRITY PRESENTERS ANNOUNCED FOR THE STAR-STUDDED 9TH ANNUAL WOMEN WHO CARE LUNCHEON BENEFITTING UNITED CEREBRAL PALSY OF NEW YORK CITY AT CIPRIANI 42ND STREET THURSDAY, MAY 6 IN NEW YORK Honorees will be NBC’s “Today” show News Anchor Ann Curry; Producer/Philanthropist Francine LeFrak; Advertising Innovator Linda Kaplan Thaler; Renowned Surgeon & Author Dr. Pamela F. Gallin; Entrepreneur JoanAnn Natola; & Parent Advocates Anita & Gary Geresi Celebrity Presenters include: Cynthia Nixon, Meredith Vieira, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Paula Zahn, Kelly Rutherford, Valerie Harper, Robin Givens, Bryan Batt, Tamara Tunie, Brian d’Arcy James, & Rita Cosby

Loreen Arbus, Founder & Chair of Women Who Care and Cathleen P. Black, Honorary Chair, are pleased to announce the honorees and celebrity presenters for The 9th Annual Women Who Care Luncheon to benefitUnited Cerebral Palsy of New York City. The event will be held on Thursday, May 6th, at Cipriani 42nd Street. Women Who Care celebrates the accomplishments of women as caregivers, volunteers and professionals. The event will be hosted by Donna Hanover. Whom You Know looks forward to covering this event.

“Women Who Care was created to honor female role models representing various segments of the community,” said Loreen Arbus, Founder & Chair of Women Who Care. “It is a celebration of women who have blazed new paths, broken glass ceilings and inspired others to achieve.”

Honorees for The 9th Annual Women Who Care Luncheon on May 6th will be:

Ann Curry, Host, NBC’s “Today” show; Francine LeFrak, Producer/Entrepreneur, Philanthropist/LeFrak Productions;JoanAnn Natola, Managing Partner, Element Financial Group; Linda Kaplan Thaler, Chief Executive Officer, The Kaplan Thaler Group.

There will also be two marquee awards for this year’s Women Who Care event: Dr. Mehmet Oz, host of “The Dr. Oz Show,” will present The Luella Bennack Award to Dr. Pamela F. Gallin, M.D., F.A.C.S.: Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology, Clinical Professor of Pediatrics, Director of Pediatric Ophthalmology, New York-Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center. In addition, Anita & Gary Geresi will be presented with The Karen Hansen Caregiver Award.
