It's been a wonderfully snowy & crystalline Winter, and we're all ready to think of milder weather and launch into a sweet-smelling Spring! As word of Sniffapalooza wafts around the globe, so does our ability to bring you the latest and greatest experiences in fragrance. So Team Karen is back at work planning the most fantastic scent adventure known to humankind - the TWO-DAY Spring Fling Mega-Sniffapalooza in NYC! Mark your calendars - the dates are Saturday, April 10 - Sunday, April 11, 2010, and you *do not* want to miss this one!
We're dubbing this event Renaissance of the Perfumer, not only because we've got so many established perfumers and fragrance designers joining us, but because we're also thrilled to introduce you to several talented emerging artisans in our new EAU de Sniffapalooza Showcase. Translation:Emerging Artisans Uncorked!
We've got an incredible roster of speakers and presenters from all facets of the fragrance industry to give us the knowledge to fuel our passion. And to give us sustenance for this magnificent sensory journey, we are delighted to welcome 2 Chicks with Chocolate, who will dazzle our palates and our imaginations!
For those of you who are just joining the Sniffapalooza family, the Sniffapalooza Spring Fling is an entire weekend crammed full of olfactory and multi-sensory experiences. You'll come away from the weekend with new knowledge, new friends, lots of new goodies, and a new perspective on a fragrant life. There's nothing else like it on the planet.
This year's event will be held on Saturday, April 10 - Sunday, April 11. As always, Saturday will be our Uptown Day, and Sunday will be our Downtown Day.

11:00am-5:00pm: Open House sniffing at Le Labo. Meet the Le Labo team, check out the vintage candles collection, & have your purchases custom-labeled!
12:00-1:00pm: Sniffing at Lafco NY, with sampling, refreshments, special gifts, & be among the first to premier their newest candle lines. Meet Creative Team Jon Bresler & Segen Scott. 20% discount on all purchases!

Meet fragrance specialist Leah Dean as she gives us a master class & introduces us to Anna's many fragrances, as well as the cosmetics & skin care lines. 4:30-6:30pm: Sniffing at Aedes de Venustas, with those fabulous Prosecco Bellinis, sampling, special guests, exclusive launches & gift bags. Meet creative team Robert & Karl!
4:30-6:30pm: Take a chocolate journey at Pure Dark! Expand your sensory weekend with a visit to this delicious new chocolate emporium and learn about the "Beans to Bars" process. Exclusive Sniffapalooza store tour, education session, & gift card. Customize your own chocolate!
The rates for Sniffapalooza Spring Fling are as follows:
Saturday, 4/10: $80 covers event & luncheon, tea at Takashimaya, & assorted special treats!
Sunday, 4/11: $80 covers event, brunch at Bond No. 9, luncheon, Pure Dark chocolate journey, cocktails!
Full weekend: $160 covers events 4/10 and 4/11, lunches both days, the brunch on Sunday, all teas, cocktails, chocolate journey and assorted treats as detailed above, and the BG breakfast. (BG breakfast only if you are one of the first 65 people to sign up!)
A portion of each registration fee will be donated to a very special charity – Save the Children – and will be earmarked for Earthquake Relief.
