Here is what they thought of the Celtic Journal by the Peter Pauper Press:
The Celtic Journal by Peter Pauper Press, Inc. is the perfect gift for your Irish family and friends; just in time for St. Patricks Day. The convenient sized journal will fit nicely in your pocketbook or briefcase. Its unique bookbound hardcover of green and black knotworks reminds us of the serpents that once inhabited Ireland. There are one hundred and sixty pages to record your innermost thoughts, dreams and maybe a special Irish recipe. Attached is a convenient elastic band page holder that allows you to locate your current page quickly. To my surprise was an inside back cover pocket that allows you to hide those secret notes or personal data. Peter Pauper Press has even given great thought about the binding design which allows the journal to lay flat when in use. Another great design and product.
When looking at the Celtic Journal, the first thing that caught my eye was the intricate cover design. It is so stunningly beautiful that I want to put it on display for everyone to see. The green and black colors make the journal seem welcoming so you want to share your thoughts. The ease of writing in the journal is wonderful. I was delighted with the pocket in the back cover. I found I could use it to store stories or anticdotes that I may not want everyone to see if someone happened to be looking through the journal. This is a treasure I would share with friends and family as a gift.
While you should never judge a book by its cover, there seems no harm in judging this journal by its. The spine of the book is crafted so that the journal opens up flat, making writing easier. The attached elastic band ensures you never lose your place. The 160 pages is plenty of space to express months’ worth of thoughts, ideas and memories. This green and black, hardcover journal is the perfect gift for the Mick in your life, especially this time of year. Truth is, though, this journal is perfect for any would-be poet or anyone who enjoys writing as a form of expression. You don’t have to be Irish to enjoy this gift, although I’ll be wrapping one for my red-haired, blue-eyed little sister for her March birthday!
Despite its traditional Celtic appearance, the Celtic journal can be used by just about anyone. However, it makes the perfect little gift for those celebrating St. Patrick’s Day this year! The journal’s aesthetic appeal makes it even more special and unique. The cover of the journal is all green and is inscribed with an intricate knot work and Celtic animal forms. Its size is not overwhelming, and is fits easily in most handbags. It’s ideal to jot down your thoughts as you’re heading to work, or keep it safe at home and use it as a personal diary. There’s even a small pocket on the inside of the back cover, which is perfect for keeping anything of sentimental or important value within hands reach.
This beautiful Celtic Journal is absolutely wonderful! It has such a unique Celtic design, it's solid, and it comes in a handy size which makes it great for women! They can drop it in their purse and not feel like it's taking over their bags. There is also a handy side band that helps keep your pages closed. However, the best part of this journal that I personally love is the sneaky back folder that's located on the back page which is great when you want to put spare pieces of papers inside and know that they won't get lost! Now I don't have to worry about loosing important papers! I love the color and the size of this Celtic Journal, it's a great investment.
